Stolen items from boot of truck

Yesterday evening at 19:45, myself and two others were detained by police, our truck was searched and they seized a few bags of meth and left our plastic and steel as well as the dirty money we had in the boot, after the incident was done and the police had released us, we went back to our truck only to find that we had all our plastic and steel stolen, the officers came back and assured us they didn't take it and gave me a receipt of the search, we had 30 something of each plastic and steel, just hoping that someone might be able to help us get that back because it was stolen from the boot while we were handcuffed. 

The officer who was in charge of the situation was Detective senior constable Cameron Oakley, he was the one who came back and assured me as well as provided me with the search receipt.
