  1. Hello BBRP! I'd like to present an idea to the community that will provide a very consistent source of non-violent, action packed and progression rich RP for everyone to enjoy! That idea involves having the ability to host races around the city on a minimalistic centralized app that we can install on our BBRP phones. Imagine that you have just purchased that brand spanking new R34 Skyline (or whatever floats your boat) and then head to your local mechanic to turn that car into performance machine. However, you arent a "pro get-away driver" and you dont like terrifying the locals with your F1 driving skills, so what do you do? This is where street racing comes in, it would allow everyone in the city to put their machines to the test and indulge in some skill expression against their rivals. I personally would love to roleplay as a notorious street racer whose character progression involves topping the city leaderboards and becoming "the best". This also benefits anyone in the city who has even the slightest interest in motor vehicles because street racing would add another venue to the scope of their RP. Street racing provides a larger purpose for purseing cars in BBRP. How would racing work? Players navigate to the racing app on their phone where they can host a race or join an existing one Create custom tracks by adding/removing GPS checkpoints to the radar/map Custom HUD that displays position, lap, lap time, best lap Leaderboards for people with the fastest track times or highest ELO ranking Collision-less racing where cars clip through each other to ensure clean and competitive races Specific races for certain vehicle types and classes (Biker gang races? ) All of this depends upon the racing script and desires of the community I believe that this addition also provides a range of logical benefits for the server. Benefit #1: Even during off-peak times, people would have the opportunity to frequently engage in races in order to progress their financial situation, driving skills, or to just have fun. Benefit #2: It's a way to consistently bring like-minded people together, enabling new friendships to be formed, rivalries to be escalated, and established relationships to be strengthened. This aspect is especially valuable for new citizens who are looking to meet new people. Benefit #3: Street racing would have little effect in changing the progression of the overall server direction, for example: a scenario where BBRP turns into a racing focused server. This would be undesirable for BBRP as it would take away from the long history of diverse RP. Races could potentially comprise of only 2-12 people at a time, with a maximum of 1-3 races occurring at once, meaning that only a small % of players are pulled from the busy streets of Melbourne and no "dead rp" affect is felt. (Keep in mind that it is only my personal assumption that this is not desirable for the BBRP community) All of this sounds great in theory (I think); however, it is important to pay respects to the developers and staff of BBRP who would be burdened with this extra workload. This is where I reach the limit of my knowledge as I do not know what kind of efforts would be required to implement such a thing. If this idea is too large of a project or out of scope for BBRP's future, then I completely understand, I am only here to try my luck because It's something I would absolutely love, and I would like to think that others would love it too. In order to aide in this decision making process, I have provided a few established FiveM racing scripts below [Release] StreetRaces - Multiplayer Races with Checkpoints, HUD and more [v1.00] - FiveM Resource Development & Modding / Releases - Cfx.re Community [PAID] RAHE Racing System [ESX / QB / Standalone] - FiveM Resource Development & Modding / Releases - Cfx.re Community Racing scripts for racing fans - FiveM Resource Development & Modding / Releases - Cfx.re Community Now I leave all of this up to the community of BBRP to discuss! Thank you so much for taking the time to consider this idea Kindest Regards, Ryan Lockwood
  2. I'll start this by saying I love that something like vote kick exists, I think it is a very necessary so that when no staff are around the community has some recourse against hate, hackers and finally MASS rdmers. Outside of those three scenarios (or ones with a similar level of impact to peoples RP and or their feelings of personal safety) I believe the system is being misused and abused. I do not know exactly how the five m framework works but my understanding is that is runs off a similar LUA code as source games do, my suggestion is something many source servers have implemented / have developed separately so I don't believe it should have a massive impact on server performance. The basic idea is a UI that will pop up when people attempt to do vote kicks now, the back end vote would be the exact same when after they go through the UI but this would encourage people to think about if "talking while dead" or silly things like that are really things you need to votekick for. Image 1: Just showing the same command being used. Image 2: A very small pre-amble dissuading people from using votekick for minor things or non immediate threats to people personal sense of security or major hindrances to RP. Image 3: Just a basic fill in the blank form for the vote kick, ID would be auto filled from the previous page, time would be in reference to when the offender broke the rule (not the current time unless they are still doing so), rules broken is pretty self explanatory, Context would be what would be shown in the vote kick, something short and sweet like "NO RP, ran up to us shot us in the head and then started calling my trans friend a 'dumb confused "n-word" who he was going to sexually assault' ", last one is just for any additional things you can remember / think that matter so that the staff have more to help them investigate should the vote kick be contested. Image 4: just explains some of the consequences if you are found to be missuing the system repeatedly or abusing it for personal gain. Image 5: simple conformation message. I know this isn't a perfect solution and that showing that there are potential consequences for a false report may discourage legit kicks from being filed but I believe this is a problem and whist this isn't a very elegant solution it is the simplest I could think of. If you have any changes you think I should implement or any criticism / other ideas I would like to hear them, if your post is going to just complain about the current votekick system I do not need to read them so please don't post them on this suggestion.
  3. Hi, George Franks here! (AKA Gramps) I've dreamt of owning these cars and would love to see them imported some time in the near future! Everyone Loves a Muscle Car, especially the old fords! Take a look. My first suggestions are expanding those Muscle Collector cars see below. If you Like my suggestions Hit the Thumbs up!, Spread the word! Tell me what you think, do you support these cars? Ford Mustang 1969 Mach 1, To continue a tradition, following the Mustang which was released just recently. https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/1969-ford-mustang-boss-302-replace 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/1971-ford-mustang-mach-1 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT 351 _ Extending the different models of fords. 4. Vincent's Shit QUEUE Idea. *This is all probably very wrong, if any of the logic I used for trying to figure out the current queue system is wrong please disregard the topic, this is just how queue feels to an outside observer* Queue is not an issue for me, as part of the CAT team I have been quite lucky to avoid the fallout-esk wasteland that has been our server queue for the past 4 months or so but I can see the strain the amount of supporters has put on our current system. As it currently exists our queue is a positive feedback loop (Figure 1:) where people get annoyed with queue, decide to support which makes queue worse for others so they are more likely to support. Figure 1: The cycle of pain. Whilst from a business POV this is good I got the impression from both staff and long time community members that this was not why supporter existed, we are continually trying to add other ways to give queue priority for free but there is a point when we have to just accept that at the volume we are currently dealing with out queue priority system isn't handling it. My suggestion is based off a REDM queue system I once helped create, I am not saying I coded it so I can't do that for this community but I was heavily involved in the planning process where we decided what tiers would give what power and how that power related to entry tier players. *This is all assuming the CitizenFX framework don't fuck with databases differently depending on which game it is used on.* As it currently exists queue prio is not great for the masses, it feels like you could be waiting in queue for 7 hours and get up to position 2/40 and then 10 plats will join the queue and will instantly go in front of yo. My idea would be more resource intensive but take into account the amount of time you had waited in queue since tsunami (The numbers are very rough and I may be under or over valuing some of the roles but I think the general Idea is sound) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jcbu3Bcd-1lYb8p_WiIr2qiDUv1jSBOh6VFLzUhEvjY/edit?usp=sharing This very simple spreadsheet converts the flat queue powers into flat time spent in queue bonuses, there are some that will never be beaten by entry queue but I think that is a necessary inclusion for things like Staff, EMS, BBRP Affiliates etc. I will now give you an example of how this will change the queue, we will scale it down to 10 people just to make it easier. Information for the example: - It is 7:30pm (3 hours since restart) - There are less than 300 people on the server (Not realistic but a needed addition for this example) - User A, B and C have been in queue since restart - User D, E, F, G, H, and I all joined at 7:30pm - User J joined at queue at 4:30, waited an hour and got in but left at 7 for dinner, they are now rejoining at 7:30 A : Entry Tier, Year 4 (0qp vs 5min+QT) QT=3 hours * B : Whitelisted, Year 4 (30qp vs 1hour 35min+QT) QT=3 hours * C : Gold Tier, Year 3 (30qp vs 1 hour 40min+QT) QT=3 hours * D : EMS Active, Year 4 (200qp vs 14 hour+QT) QT=0 * E : EMS not Active, Year 4 (0qp vs 5min+QT) QT=0 F : Entry Tier, Year 1 (0qp vs 40min+QT) QT=0 G : Gold Tier, Year 1 (30qp vs 2hour 10min+QT) QT=0 H : Plat Tier, Year 4 (50qp vs 2hour 35min+QT) QT=0 I : Admin, Year 3 (∞qp vs 48hour+QT) QT=0 * J : Plat Tier, Year 2 (50qp vs 2hour 50min+QT) QT=1 hour * Using that shit jumble of data I will show you the order I believe each system would put them in. What Current Seems Like: I. D. H. J. B. C. G. A. E. F. New: I, D, C, B, J, A, H, G, F, E, The main difference is that it weights how long you have been waiting a lot more than just your position IN your perspective tier due to this a year 4 entry who has been waiting for 3 hours (User A) can beat Users H, G, F and E instead of just F and E, Similarly B & C were able to move up the ranks and were only beaten by those who need to access the server ASAP (active EMS and Staff.) I know this isn't a great solution, I know it is probably a lot more resource intensive than whatever elegant secret queue script Grundy has made behind the scenes but because no one really talks about how queue really works we have to go off how it feels like it works and right now it feels like it isn't. Thankyou for trying to make it easier for those who can't afford to pay for supporter to get some form of queue priority, if this isn't even slightly possible I would be happy to work with the staff to help figure out more ways to do that in the future. I am not a coder anymore, I do not do LUA and have never worked with the citizenfx framework or with the amounts of data the server currently does but I just wanted to put into words the things people have been complaining about for months but have been unable to describe. Thankyou for coming to my shitty TED talk. *Sorry for making a whine-y ramble-y post, If the devs read this you do an amazing job, this is more just so I can scream into the void than anything*

Since release in 2017 it has gained popularity in cities for it's manoeuvrability and fuel efficiency. RP Use: Personal/private use. It can also be incorporated for small businesses if someone wanted to.

The off-road category is filled mostly with large trucks with large tyres that are cumbersome and slow, this could be introduced as a high performance alternative to those who are not a fan of motorcycles as there are very limited options currently. 7. Link: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/honda-nsx-r-na1-1992Name: Honda NSX-R (NA1)Description: - HQ car body and interior - RHD - Support Paintjobs - Template included - Tunable - 2 bodykit (Advance RocketBunny) - Breakeable glass - Working dials - Working steering wheel - Hands on steeringwheel RP Use: There aren't many upmarket or particularly fast Japanese cars available in the city at the moment, and even less with a wide variety of customization options available. A vehicle like the NSX could fill that gap, with it being the Japanese 'Supercar' of the 90's! There is a large community of car enthusiasts in the city, which would also appreciate a vehicle like this with cosmetic customization options! Image:
