Character Backstory (minimum 60 words): Coach was born on December the 22nd, 1972. He grew up in Ireland with his grandparents as his parents were below working class and could not survive day to day without a paycheque. Coach grew up with a love for producing and directing, but living below means he was not able to pursue this dream, and instead after getting into a altercation beating up multiple kids at school with 'a bottle of vinegar' at age 11 he was expelled and forced to work at his fathers barely surviving auto shop.
Coach then continued to spend the next 15 years working for his father learning the ins and outs of every car, making below means to keep the store alive when one day his father unexpectedly passed away and Coach forced to sell the the store to pay funeral bills ect. After selling the store he moved to Australia to get a fresh start and discovered the underground car scene, touges, highway runs, drifting and rally. He began to illegally race as a means to make money and survive.
Coach would pink slip racers for their cars and was able to get his hands on a R32, Supra and S14. While travelling Australia he realised his new found dream for racing, and moved from Sydney to Melbourne to create his own team that would travel and compete against the other teams within Australia. As far as I can tell mechanics hire whoever they believe is best for the job, sometimes that is their friends, sometimes that is people in the same org as them and sometimes it is just people, I know for a fact that slowlife has accepted non gang affiliates.

But if you are trying to be like a group of racers that goes up against another group of racers then yeah a crew wouldn't be a bad idea.

ok sweet thanks for this! originally thought you had to be a member to be a mechanic, this is good to hear thank you 😄

    Hey bud,
Crews don't necessarily have to be criminal but they do need a general look an have a max size, I guess my main question to you is "why?"

main reason was because if I wanted to be a mechanic but do a drifting/touge crew I wouldn't be able to as id have to be in one of the orgs to work at slow life or gmg right? meaning I wouldn't be able to do both? being in a gang/org and having a touge team?

teams would compete against each other and go to car meets and drift/race events and try be the best there while developing each others skills, eg a team of 2-4 racers(uphill and downhill racers) and 1-2 mechanics and a coach/analyst or something, would go against another racing team/racers at a meet just for bragging rights or if they wanted, they could put something on the line like a pink slip. essentially how the show works if you have seen initial d.

    Quote

why can't you just be mates and one or a few of your organize street races.

I wasn't sure if these would fall under a crew type thing so I figured it would be better asking first. as the goal would be to compete with other racing crews in the city. so i figured id have to be in one of my own to compete with them/be considered?

  4. hi,

by any chance if we had a racing/drifting/touge crew that was strictly that only and no gang activity with guns ect would we be allowed more than one crew or?

really wanted to do a initial d style crew where we just race ect but i may be in a org soon, would this not be allowed?

    thanks 😄
