Our past has been one with many challenges & great difficulties however with determination and focus we have grown to be the best Crew+ and now it’s time to show Melbourne that Conexus is here to grow to the strongest organization. The birth of the Conexus Cartel. Conexus first started back in May 2022 with 4 members who had the dream of being the biggest and most respected crew in all of Melbourne. Before bringing the crew together and focusing on how we’ll start we already faced a difficult task that every crew faces, the name of which we’ll be calling ourselves. A Lot of people know the name Conexus but not the meaning behind it. In Latin, “Conexus” translates to “Cartel”. The growth of the cartel. As time passed members have come and gone however the boys that stick with the grind pushing each other to grow stronger then days past, with no money, no support to turn to nor and org in our early days we just had each other to rely on. With our struggles there is a silver lining which made our brotherhood and our wills stronger than ever, that why us 7 may have different personalities and come from different walk of life nevertheless we are a family and like Vin Diesel once said “There’s nothing stronger than family” The money starts pouring in. At first we did business with a few crew to start off with however it didn’t take long for us to have our first meeting with an org, after a lot of time making connections and a hard bargain we got a foothold with an established Organization, However it didn’t go as planned as we learnt that we weren't getting the respect we deserved after a few months bring in great business even in today's standards. So we had another hard choice to make yet again, only 1 out of 7 was in favor of moving to the suits but us striking a deal with them allowed us to grow exceptionally quick but with growth and strength there is always a down fall, Conexus has suffered many of these down falls and has always come back stronger. Getting to know our ranks. El Presidente - This is the highest rank one can obtain within the cartel, they oversee all that happens within all operations within the Cartel. El Jefe - This is the second highest rank within the Cartel, when the El Presidente isn’t present he takes on the role of leader and also is responsible for supervising the Sicarios and falcons within their own territory. El Capitan - They are the ones that watch over the Cartels funds, equipment, logistics & stock levels along with planning to secure more whether that be through purchasing or manufacturing. These people are the most important within the Cartel without them they can and will go broke. Militar - The person that holds this title is the personal bodyguard to that of the El Presidente and El Jefe, it’s their duty to put their life on the line to ensure the safety of his leaders. Cabeza Sicario - The leading head of the Sicarios, whoever holds this title is in-charge of providing orders to the sicario members, keeping them in line whilst also providing requests asked by his members to the El Capitan’s for ammo, guns etc. Sicario - The armed group within the drug cartel, responsible for carrying out assassinations, kidnappings, thefts and extortion's, operating protection rackets, as well as defending the cartels land and assets. Falcon - (Hangaround/Prospect) Considered as the "eyes and ears" of the streets, the falcons are the lowest rank in the cartel. They are scouts, who are responsible for conducting reconnaissance, such as reporting the activities of the police, and rival Organizations. Where does Conexus see themselves in 6 months time? We have a hunger to grow to the best and most powerful, however we gotta be realistic with our goal. We want to have loyal members that will uphold the name Conexus and look after the crews that do businesses though us, furthermore to expand our family and grow stronger together. What can Conexus offer to the city of Melbourne? As Conexus we strive to offer RP opportunities as much as we can, such as our Conexus Burgers & Bevs, Our mystery Van Raffle along with setting up meetings that fit our image as a Cartel. We aim to offer more experience for every person whether they be a civilian, police or other criminals. What we offer to the city. Recently we’ve been hosting Bean Bag Tournaments for the crews of the city, to have abit of fun along with getting their name recognized . They get to scratch that trigger finger itch along with possibly making connections for future business with the other crews. Conexus Burgers & Bevs was an old business venture that we will be bringing back in due time. We miss bringing people together for some fresh A5 wagyu beef burgers and a cold one with the bois. Our mystery van raffle is the best way for solo’s or smaller crews alike to have a chance at winning high valued items that they couldn’t afford normally on the streets. Conexus places great importance on maintaining our image as a gritty, hands-on cartel. We avoid the trappings of wealth and greed, preferring instead to focus on the hard work of the drug trade, often operating in rugged terrain and difficult conditions. Our dedication to the image is paramount, and we take great care to ensure that our roleplay accurately reflects our persona as a tough and dedicated cartel. We understand that our reputation is the key to our success and strive to uphold it in all aspects of our activities. Furthermore, we aim to set a positive example for future cartels, inspiring them to also prioritize their image and roleplay in order to establish a strong and respected presence in the criminal underworld. As Conexus Cartel we see ourselves as a true force to be reckoned with, and we are committed to maintaining our image and inspiring others to follow in our footsteps. Our New Home. Since the Disciples MC has moved to Bendigo we no longer can it home, with that said we request a new place to call home. This MLO suits the Cartel identity well and nothing comes close to it. Some had months of experience in the criminal life, others brand spanking new. A few friends and a few absolute strangers. How future prominent members ended up in Maradox in the first place is a story in and of itself. From working Honour Security to learning how to grow weed from a member of Victoria Police's finest. From flourishing under an org to being safe wiped by the very same one. From scraping by to tasting gradual but consistent success. From being one call away from disbanding to being told that the Yacht was theirs to call home. Our Roleplay Vision for Organisation The city of Melbourne can be a wonderful and lively place to be but what kind of diversity in experience does the world of criminal rp offer to the citizens who choose the darker path in life? As a crew or individual interacting with an organisation can be an engaging experience but it can also become a tedious and repetitious pattern of routine meetings, deliveries, washes and pickups. The city has a set of interesting organisations who have worked incredibly hard to get where they are and equally hard to maintain their position. Almost all of them are prominent in social media, net-banging, drawing attention, insulting the reputations of others and defending their own. Every aspiring crew wants to become an organisation that promises to be different, to act from the shadows, to fly under the radar. Maradox proposes the same but is also realistic about how this will work. No organisation survives long with defending itself on the streets. The city needs something different from its next organisation. The city needs a syndicate again… Rather than being a practical reality, Maradox proposes that its secretive and mysterious nature as a syndicate will be the core of its roleplay interactions. As a crew this had been our focus for the longest of times. We already make strong efforts to have meaningful and creative meetings. We pick interesting locations. We act our secretive nature. We cultivate interesting and engaging interactions with those who work with us or for whom we work for. As an organisation we would aim to be role models for roleplay. There will be no simple deliveries or pick-ups from clubby. Every meeting would be meaningful and tell a story. The crews and individuals working through us will be rewarded materially but more importantly, they will be rewarded with experiences. We will take some inspiration from other orgs, past and present, picking and choosing how to make our approach unique. Purpose – Creating Magical Roleplay Experiences: Our currency will be more than dirty and clean. Part of what we want to do is to inspire people with roleplay experiences. We remember the days of Cypher and CODE and we see the work the Smith Sister do to enliven the city. We hold such entities in reverence and want to offer similar events. Rather than creating a series of business ideas to support this application, in the spirit of these creative entities that have breathed life into the city, we will be putting forward another document that goes into depth about how Maradox hopes to add depth to Melbourne’s criminal world. To bring depth and agency into, in its basic form, a grind fest of crew life As an organisation we want more than just sales, washing and war. We know that it is part and parcel of having such a powerful status in the city but we want to give back in the currency of experience because that is what is fulfilling to us. Give us your business and roleplay and we’ll reward you with not only product but creative scenarios and stories to be a part of. The opportunity to have an impact in your environment Ranks: Chairman – The head of the organisation. Responsible for the direction and tone of the syndicate and holds the power of the final decision Managing Director – Responsible for developing and executing the organization's plans as well as providing advice and guidance to the Chairman. Such individuals make up core hierarchy. Senior Officer – Their duty is to supervise and coordinate lower ranks. To set goals and guidelines for a smooth operation. Whilst a form of hierarchy themselves they act as an approachable bridge of communication between hierarchy and members Officer – Full members. The essential cogs to the operation as a whole and are necessary to complete every day tasks Associate – Freshly inducted members of the organization and hold similar responsibilities to the Officers. Affiliate – People that hierarchy deem eligible and have gauged interest in working towards an Associate position.
