Info:

The Yakuza are members of transnational organized crime syndicates originating in Japan. The English equivalent for the term Yakuza is gangster, meaning an individual involved in a Mafia-like criminal organisation. The Yakuza are known for their strict codes of conduct, their organized fiefdom nature and several unconventional ritual practices such as yubitsume or amputation of the left little finger. Members are often described as wearing "sharp suits" with heavily tattooed bodies and slicked hair.

The Yakuza does not consist of just one group, but has many different syndicate groups that work together to form one of the largest organized crime groups in the world. With strongholds in America and most of South-East Asia, one syndicate called Mishima Kai is looking to establish themselves in Australia, choosing Melbourne in the state of Victoria. They believe this is a strategic and critical location, given the current infrastructure within Melbourne to secure a base of operations that is also close enough and easily accessible from New Zealand.

The Mishima Kai is a fairly new syndicate in the Yakuza group and is not one of the largest, but is known and regarded as being the most sophisticated and wealthiest criminal organisation out of all syndicates. Although a criminal organisation, they are well known for giving back to their communities as charity is rooted in their “ninkyo” code, which values justice and duty and forbids allowing others to suffer, however some believe this is only a PR stunt masking their criminal activities to gain acceptance within the local communities. Now based in Osaka, its origin started from the grinding poverty of Japan's biggest slum, Kamagasaki. Mishima Kai is named after its founder Mishima Nakamura, the grandfather of Takeda Nakamura who has been appointed as the Oyabun of “Mishima Kai – Yakuza of Melbourne”.

Mishima Kai Hierarchy

Leaders

Oyabun Takeda Nakamura
⦁    The absolute leader of Mishima Kai – Yakuza of Melbourne. He has an advisor called Saiko-Komon. Beside that he has an army of advocates, accountants, secretaries and advisors.

Waka GashiraLuciano Glover
⦁    Second in command. Man in practice right under the Yakuza leader, the Oyabun. The Waka Gashira sees to it that the Oyabun's orders are carried out correctly by the Shatei Gashira's men (Kyodai).

Saiko-KomonPaul Takao
⦁    The right-hand man and chief advisor of the Oyabun in the yakuza and resolves disputes within the family.

Shatei Gashira
⦁    The leader of the kyodai and Shatei (the brothers/sisters). He sees to it that the kyodai do their duties well for the yakuza clan.

Members

Kyodai
⦁    A high-ranking member of the yakuza, accountable to the Shatei Gashira and above.

Shatei - General Members
⦁    The younger brothers. They are children or Wakashu of the Oyabun and his brothers. They are under the control of the kyodai (the brothers), but in the end it is still the word of the Oyabun that is final.

Associates
⦁    Not a made member, but they work for the Yakuza. They work under the Saiko-Komon that would relay orders from Oyabun

Base of Operations

TBC and discussed with the government. We have a Business Plan in place for a specific location that can be further discussed with the government behind closed doors.

Mission Situation and Course of Action:

Working in secrecy, Takeda Nakamura isn't one to want his family in the limelight, but working in the shadows and under the radar. Mishima Kai isn't in Melbourne to take over but wants its presence to install a subconscious paranoia. Takeda has been tasked to set up a base of operations for an international drug and money laundering ring, although their main focus is in money laundering. Mishima Kai’s aim is to run illegal street racing, racketeering operations and drug trafficking that work together helping launder their wealth.

Main Goals
⦁    Create an atmosphere of secrecy and a coded network.
⦁    Work with trusted small or large criminal organisations.
⦁    Invite only events such as racketeering operations, illegal racing, secured business dealings etc... to ensure Mishima Kai’s reputation in secrecy is upheld.
⦁    Maintain good public image, whitewashing the public eye from criminal activity.

Rules and Regulations

It's important that our recruitment process is taken seriously and won't be done lightly, testing their ability to stay in character and play out different scenarios.
Given the actions of members are the representation of the Yakuza, any breaches against the community or organisations guidelines will be taken seriously and depending on the severity of the breach, will be an immediate removal/demotion from the organisation.
We would like to create a valued RP experience, for all to enjoy inside the group and throughout the city which is why the Yakuza are strict on who they choose to become family.

Below are a few rules within Mishima Kai – Yakuza of Melbourne
⦁    No RDM – there is to be no killing unless ordered by the Oyabun. Only time you are able to kill is when your life is in danger
⦁    No Robbing – it is in the Mishima Kai best interest to have a good public image as this action can not only disrupt trade lines which is income but also damage our relationships with other small and large organisations.
⦁    No violence towards police, without approval from the current Supreme Oyabun in Japan (Tekashi Nakamura)
⦁    No mention of family affairs outside the organisation.

I haven't interacted with you guys a tonne in city but the times I have you showed potential to grow. As Dom I knew both Takaeda and Jamie well before the crew system was implemented but even back then they (both the character and the person in general) had a way of making people fall in line around a common set of goals or morals. I think that translates fairly well into the romanticized idea of "Yakuza" and I think it could add another dynamic to the city if they were to grow.

Less random killings more accountability for dishonorable actions.

This fits perfectly with the backstory for my new character that I made. When you guys get accepted (I'm sure of it), hit me up, I'd love to trial for the family.

Complete quality, so many great memorable interactions with the whole of the Yakuza! Great idea and a unique needed change for the city! Takeda, the leader of the group has lots of potential from all creative and high quality aspects.

As a cop i wouldnt mind seeing yakuza being an org its gonna bring a different type of rp than most of the gangs we have in the city, i have had many interactions with takeda and i have enjoyed the rp with him and i genuinely believe he should be given an opportunity to make the yakuza a legitimate thing in the city and i also do believe that they should be given the opportunity to have the casino as their base, cause like come on its the yakuza casino is their thing its the law LOL. But like really this is gonna be a good thing for the city especially for cops cause this is gonna bring a whole different side of rp for us.

As a youngster in Melbourne these chaps are the best to be around. Professional to deal with and friendly, not afraid of saying something innocent and catching a bullet. Also unmatched taste in vehicles around the city.

Absolutely love the Yakuza RP! I've been keeping up with BBRP through so many different streamers and orgs but Yakuza consistently deliver good content. Would love to see them become official and interact with the other orgs a bit more.

Can't vouch for these guys enough. Would love to see more  well prepared, authentic role-play in the city and that's exactly what these guys deliver. Takeda has my vote!
