  1. I believe its scripted this way on purpose, devs thought it would be funny lol.. which it kinda is ngl
  2. Hey bud,If the ban being longer that 30 days you are entitled to make an appeal for said ban, to make a ban appeal ticket go here:https://bluebirdrp.live/index.php?/support/ However, the ban reason is that you powergamed and exploited our of prison, I don't see how that's a related to the long story you've written about your time getting wasted? It's a simple question did you powergame and exploit our of prison or did you not? If not go appeal it, If yes, I'd recommend trying other servers
  3. So currently the sheriff's job is under vicpol and there's no way around switching between your vicpol job and your sheriffs job without having to delete my vicpol job and ask someone from dps management to give me the sheriffs role every time I wanna go on duty as sheriff. Could you please fix that and make the sheriffs job role a role on its own not under vicpol so that I can switch between both my vicpol job and my sheriffs job without having to ask for the role every time
  4. Did you by any chance have your character on a 2nd slot and then lost your supporter status?
  5. Bump! I think the idea is pretty cool, would love to see it implemented
  6. So I thought it'd be pretty cool if the OPP and OLD had a bit more present in city and I was hoping maybe we could get physical offices for the OPP and the OLD. Maybe a floor in the same building as honour security? It'd also be nice if it's possible to add the ability to store documents in a cabinet for example so that way legal professionals would actually have to drive to the legal office and update case files etc in city, thought it'd add a bit more RP for lawyers and prosecutors considering that most of the job is done through discord.
  7. Scuba Steve for Social Media Manager
  8. You can have a 2nd character slot if you're a gold supporter+, I think either diamond or plat supporters get a 3rd slot, whitelisted people get an extra slot as well.
  9. @Joseph Dredd << This guy might be able to help out I know he plays on RedM
  10. A lot of people complained about it, I don't think they're intending on changing it back though
  11. You have my support, love the idea. Obviously it isn't high prio as most people in the city have 1-2 jobs, but if it isn't too much work I'd love to see it happen soon!
  12. Hello and welcome to BlueBird RP! 1) Bluebird RP is free to play, you need to have steam, discord, FiveM and GTA V to be able to join. 2) it does but it might cause you to have a higher ping, I never heard of anything like that and you dont need a VPN.
  13. I agree, IRL tasers cannot stun more than 3 times before having to be reloaded.
  14. Hey Jeshin, Yeah I understand where you're coming from you bring valid points, I was just trying to come up with ideas to get OPP more involved in city. The point is OPP is very underutilized like you mentioned and we barely have any RP to do considering all the work that we had to put in to get where we are now. I just hope that the government has some sort of plans for OPP to get us more involved with VicPol so that we have more to do in city rather than have a job in discord and nothing to do in city except for a 20-30 minute court RP every month or so.
  15. To whom it may concern, I don't know if my opinion here is going to make a difference, but I have to get it off my chest. As of recently, we were informed that as OPP lawyers, we're not allowed to give legal advice to detainees. Unfortunately, that leaves us, those who are passionate about the job and want to RP more as prosecutors, with very little RP. I feel like in return, we should be more involved with VicPol as prosecutors. We get appeals once every while, put in hours outside the city writing a brief, reaching out to Sheriffs, reaching out to arresting officers, serving subpoenas to witnesses etc. just so that we can get 20-30 minutes of RP. some of the suggestions I have in mind: Powers to increase sentences in line with sergeants if satisfied burden of proof is sufficient Rights to review serious cases and if deemed appropriate take over prosecution at magistrate (including alpha) level Potentially the ability to hear serious police misconduct complaints (more contact with IBAC) Inform police of role of OPP as most are unaware it even exists and don't know what prosecutors are. A call system like the Magistrates, that can be called by VicPol only requesting a prosecutor Higher tick rate to justify level of work/knowledge required. With the current system, I only get paid when im doing court cases, which are not that common these days. Off duty officers make $700-900 per tick, I feel like prosecutors should have a higher tick rate to compensate for the work that gets put in outside the city, a similar pay to off duty officer would be fair. Give Crown Prosecutors keys to police stations and allow them to be present for prosecuting and advising police officers on charges, i.e whether they have enough evidence to charge the individual with said charge or maybe even advise them to upgrade the charges if we feel like the officer is being too lenient. I just feel like I've grinded really hard to become a registered lawyer, with the current state, im basically being forced to do something else when it shouldn't be the case, every profession deserves decent RP opportunities, specially professions that you have to grind for and prove yourself for, like OPP/OLD. The following picture describes the current state of OPP RP: I hope that we can see some changes come our way soon, we deserve some love. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Yours faithfully, Moe Familia
  16. Honestly, there aren't many active registered lawyers who do legal rep in the city other than myself and my colleague in the OPP Cameron Ab. Lawyers who are "On-duty" or available to work often post YPs ads. Not to mention that most police officers won't let a job center trainee lawyer enter the PD in the first place, there are only 7 or so registered lawyers in city.
  17. Suggestion: Give Trainee Lawyers who are registered with the a legal office an actual job role (i.e Office of Public Prosecutions: Trainee Lawyer) due to the massive difference between a registered trainee lawyer and a job center trainee lawyer. Most officers decline job center trainee lawyers from entering the police department to do legal representation work in the first place. However, registered trainee lawyers actually put in a lot of time, work and effort into going to police departments to do legal rep work, not to mention the amount of work that goes into criminal charges appeals and FPO appeals, and I feel like we deserve an actual Job Role and a higher tick rate due to the great RP that we provide to all parties involved, I can safely say that 90% of the officers I have personally dealt with as a lawyer were happy with the RP provided. They were also happy with the professionalism and knowledge shown. A lot of officers expressed positive feedback and actually started recommending myself and my associate to detainees. To follow on that point, I'd like to ask for the ability to invoice people as a registered trainee lawyer, Crown prosecutor or Defense Lawyer when it becomes a separate Job role, we go down to police departments, provide wonderful professional RP, a lot of cases we put in a lot of time and effort into just so that at the end of the day we may or may not get paid. It doesn't make sense to me how RACV employees for example have an invoice system while anyone can go to the job center and grab the RACV Job and Registered lawyers and trainee lawyers who have to submit an application and go through a screening process dont have the ability to do so. If its a matter of being afraid of it being abused, the abuser could always face penalty from Gov. Yours faithfully, Moe Familia
